Beach Sunset

This is one of my favorite photographs. It was from my first-ever trip to California in August of 2011. I recall on this night I had tickets to MTV's Video Music Awards (VMAs), and at the last minute, decided to go watch a sunset instead. The lighting was immaculate, and this is the photo I always pull out when people talk about needing the best gear to take great photos. This was shot with an iPhone 4!
